"It's Been Too Long"
Song of the Day: It's About Time by SWV
Happy Birthday to my crazy-funny-Paul Walker lovin'-Sean Paul dancin'-shit talkin'-beautiful-wonderful-loyal-best friend Faby! I love ya girl so much and hope you have a day that is as great as you are!
WTF?! I am actually updating. I know. Crazy.
Well. What's new? I have a huge inflammed taste bud that hurts like a mutha, working early on the holiday has me ALL shades of confused, and I have seen more movies in the past month than I did in 2005. It is offically summer.
Yay for my Suns making it to the Western Conference Finals. Boo for them losing the 2nd straight playoff game I have attended. WTF?! I don't appreciate that. I am starting to think I shouldn't go. Well that last game wasn't my fault. That was all TIm Thomas, just standing around while the ball bounces in FRONT of him and there are some bitch ass Mavericks in the way. Hell no. But it could have been do the fact that I didn't have my bomb ass fuzzy pimp orange hat that I bought SPECIFICALLY for Suns game. Next time damnit. Game 6 here I come!
The other day I was asked what "promiscuous" means. It was just kinda funny to me.
I always have this place on my mind but never get the chance to just relax and let the words flow anymore. It sucks.
So the past few weeks have been pretty busy. Right after my last entry was Ida's birthday. Instead calling her at midnight or 830a to say Happy Birthday or celebrating with her and agonizing over what to get her for yet another year, I opened the last of her Christmas presents she never got to open to give away and then spent the afternoon putting flowers and balloons at her grave with Carmen, missing her so much. Birthdays were always so special for us (with the exception of my last one) and I can't think about that's how I get to spend the day with her for the rest of my life. After that was a prayer service Ida's mom wanted her family to go to and her cousin and sister invited me and any other of our friends to go to.
So the week after that was finally my trip to San Diego for Bree's wedding and to see Fabiola. I really wish it had been longer. The wedding was so beautiful and Bree was so pretty. As the offical "crasher", I was put to work and manned the video camera and recorded the ceremony. Then afterwards someone bought some bubble favors and everyone went to town with them. Well then wind picked up and that was too funny and cute. Too bad I didn't get any pictures of that. Oh well. So the wedding was held in La Jolla. La Jolla: Really pretty but NO WHERE to eat. 6 damn Starbucks in a 2 mile radius but only ONE Taco Bell and ONE Jack in the Box that doesn't have a drive thur. WTF?! The Fast Food Queen I am when I am traveling can't live like that. Thank god we were going back and forth to Vista and San Diego or we would have starved. Anyhow. I finally get to see Fab and her baby who is just the cutest. We had alot of fun. Friday, we just used her and her big screen to watch the Lakers and Suns but it was cool because the asshole she calls a boyfriend was watching it too. Fab tried to be hard core and stay up to watch a movie with us but homie was nodding off at 11p!! So we called it a night. The next day we came and kidnapped her and we went down the the harbor in San Diego and went to Catalina Island and just walked around. Then we went to Horton Plaza where the three of us went nuts at The Icing because they were having the 15 for $5 sale we all love so much. Yeah. That was bad. lol. Oh well. After we dropped her off me and Kai were going to try to hit up the Margarita Rocks there but weren't really in the clubbin' mood. Plus we STILL had to pack! So Kai did the next best thing and hit up the Vons and had her own party in the room with her and her new maid of honor pink leather flask. That was some funny shit. Ask her about the mini potts. Haha! Our last day, we went back to Fab's and watched the next playoff game and after the Suns lost we spend the next few hours burning cds and shit. I really wished we could have stayed longer and spent more time with her. Or that I could have brought her back home. I really didn't want to leave. But, I was really glad I didn't cry til I was in the car. But at least I got to see her again this weekend, if only for a few hours.
Finally, I was able to go out on a weekend! Granted it WAS Hurricane Bay but hey at least I got to see Cindy & Trisha. They crack me up. Afterwards, we went over to Trisha's house down the street and hung out some more and talked til I realized Cindy passed the fuck out. So me and Trisha just talked til about 5am. Let me remind you that I had been up at 6a for work and didn't get to take a nap at all. So when Cindy woke me up at 730a and it was bright as hell AND I had no sunglasses, let's say I wasn't the most pleasant of company. So I walk in my house at 8a and forgot I had to print the tickets for the Suns game. I am thinking 20 minutes max and me and my bed can be friends. WRONG! Fucking computer. If there had been ANY energy left in me I swear I would have thrown that fucker through my window. TWO FUCKING HOURS LATER I get my tickets and me and the bed make nice. I set the alarm to wake me up 12p. I set the CELL PHONE to wake me up at 1145a so I can go hang with Fab before the game. I hear NONE of them and I don't wake up til 345p. The game starts at 530p. Yeah....I move my ass get showered, get dressed, AND get downtown in record time. I like games on Sunday afternoon.
Off to bed now. Playoff tickets AGAIN to buy! Go Suns!!
